Our History
For over 65 years, Maywood Sportsmen's Club has been a cornerstone of the outdoor recreation community in Northern Illinois. Founded in 1958 by a group of passionate sportsmen, our club has grown from a modest shooting range to a comprehensive 80+ acre facility.
What started as a small group of hunting and fishing enthusiasts has evolved into a thriving community of hundreds of members who share a common love for the outdoors, conservation, and sporting traditions.
Throughout our history, we've remained committed to our founding principles: promoting safe and responsible outdoor recreation, conservation of natural resources, and passing on outdoor traditions to future generations.
